Do you have a lot of junk mail and paper scraps laying around your creative space? If you are like me, and don’t have the heart to throw them away (they can always be useful, right?) then fear not, as this folio tutorial will help you get rid of them and make something pretty – and useful – to boot!
This folio project is great to use in swaps, RAKs or even for storage!
All you need for this project is:
– Cardstock, scrapbooking paper, bits of fabric
– Glue
– piece of junk mail that folds into a book-like shape
– Sewing machine, paints (optional)
Obviously, each person’s creation will be different, depending on the junk mail they have on hand, and personal preference. All you need to really do is start collaging your scraps onto your junk mail in a way that you love, you can add paint, fabric, stamping – glitter! Anything you want!
In the video below, you can see the full process I followed in order to make this beautiful, nature-inspired folio:
I hope you have enjoyed this quick tutorial – if you do try and make your own, I would love to see how it comes out! You can share with my by tagging me on instagram, or by joining my facebook community, Create Wildly.
