Today I would like to showcase the images I took of Kimberly and Mikey for the Kintsugi Mama Project. It was so wonderful to have them join me for this very special session.
Here is what Kimberly had to say about why she wanted to participate in the project:
I want to participate as I feel it’s important to show how incredible a woman’s body is and how it changes after growing a child.
I didn’t love my stretch marks following the birth of my first child, but the second time round I’ve leant to love and appreciate them. My body has changed and part of that is my stretch marks. They remind me of how my body nourished and grew my two boys.
I’m now incredibly proud of my stretch marks.
