We Are Family Project | Emma & Terry

I was absolutely honoured to photograph Emma and her family for the We Are Family project. This project has slowed down a bit, but it is very much active, and I was so happy that we managed to finally get our session organised!

I had a wonderful time, just relaxing with this wonderfully diverse family, as well as being continuously lavished with love by Winnie the puppy! I found myself in some very random positions to try and get the shot between all her lovely sloppy kisses!

I hope you will enjoy reading a bit more about Emma and her family below, as well as a look at their images from their session.

Tell me a bit about your family

“We are a happy, laid back family! We enjoy days out to the beach, the woods, places we can explore together and we love a roast cooked by Daddy any day of the week! Harrison has Downs Syndrome which has brought some wonderful experiences and friends into our lives as well as our involvement with the Lincolnshire DS Support Group. He loves drumming, sports and judo. Phoebe is also sporty , loves being artistic and baking and the bond between her and Harrisonn is very special.”

Why would you like to participate in this project

“Saw it as an opportunity to capture our family life with a photographer who I think shares some of our values in a creative way.”
