Today I would like to share with you one of my artist books I created – I do enjoy having a play and exploring new textures. The theme for this book was “ephemeral” I wanted to explore just how fleeting things in nature can be, how barely there they can feel, yet how solid they truly are.
I chose a flag book for this project – which was not as easy as I thought to make! But even with my struggles, I still like the result. It is imperfect, but then again, so is nature. Chances are this book will not last forever, and that’s okay, because that is part of the art.

specifically : a plant that grows, flowers, and dies in a few days
